Hello beautiful soul,
Full transparency here, This past week I have felt every single emotion possible. With the full moon and a new month here all the energy came in HOT.
I felt happiness, freedom, self love, abundant and I also felt very sad, blocked and confused. All in the same week, even day!
I’m sharing this because this shit happens and it is NORMAL.
Having emotions are normal and so so good. It’s your body trying to speak to you and comfort you the best it can.
So when all the emotion comes up, what do you do?
A. Shove it down? and move on?
or B. Sit with it and ask yourself what is really going on here?
I’ll be honest A feels so easy and tempting but in the long run it does more harm.
Sitting with yourself and being your own person, asking yourself, what isn’t feeling good? or even what IS! Just being there for yourself is such a simple way to move through something with love and ease.
I actually had a post ready to go today but it didn’t feel right.
So I decided to write from my heart. Open up and be REAL.
Which is something I never felt comfortable enough to do for so long.
I often fear showing all of me, because I am not all together.
BUT I do know ways to re-connect to my heart and to hold space for myself.
2 ways I love using to connect to my heart.
- Let it all out. Literally let it out, and don’t judge yourself. Do what yo have to do.( dance, walk, talk, write, cry, scream.. etc.)
2. Connect to your heart. Connect to a time when you felt so at peace and really soak all those feelings in. What were you doing? Who were you with? What was on your mind? Hold that feeling and take 3 deep belly breaths.
After you felt those feelings of peace, write down how you can bring that into your life every single day.
It is so important to feel our emotions but it’s also important to take loving action.
Choose to feel it and release what isn’t serving you.
You deserve to feel at peace.
Lastly, know that every season in your life holds so much value. Often times breakdowns are right before our breakthroughs.
