Hello beautiful soul!
This weeks journal prompts are all on resentment and how to start releasing it from your body.
If you do hold onto a lot from the past and feel resentment, first know that it is okay. Don’t feel any shame for it.
You are holding onto it for a reason and now it’s time to get to the root of it.
If you are reading this blog, that means your soul is ready to release this.
You are ready to do the inner work.
Here are some questions to start working through:
Do you feel anger towards anything specific?or a certain person? If so, why?
If you could go back to what happened to you, what would you want to change?
As a child did you feel supported?
If no, write to your younger self and say everything that you wish you could give to your younger self. Give yourself a lot of love here!
Now looking back, how can you begin to shift and see what this has taught you?
How would it feel to live with nothing holding you down? Do you feel like you deserve that?
If this doesn’t feel possible for you right now, I want you to ask yourself why. Do you feel like it’s easier to be angry or however you are feeling? or do you feel like you don’t know how to let it go?
Feeling anger or holding resentment isn’t a bad thing, it is just an emotion and something to work through.
You deserve to feel free.
You deserve to feel peaceful and not held down from anything.
Remember, It is in your journey for a reason.
